Elizabeth Johnson is an Australian-born Vietnamese Musical Theatre and Classical performer who is best known for her strong and versatile voice.

Developing a passion for performance at an early age,  her musical journey began with the piano from the young age of three, music theory at the age of eight (Wollongong Conservatory of Music) and classical voice from the age of eleven.

Elizabeth's professional career as a young performer is extensive, having performed numerous sold out shows in her previous home city of Sydney with varying artists and musical theatre companies. She has been involved in award winning performances, Carols by Candlelight, Channel 7's Sunrise, Musicals, Cabarets and Concerts.

After being accepted into The Wesley Institute (2010) to study a Bachelor of Music under the likes of Ludmilla Beliavskaia (Classical Piano), Sarah Belkner and Clare Heuston (Voice), Elizabeth was privileged to tour overseas in over thirteen countries including Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, France, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.

After relocating to the Northern Rivers, Elizabeth made her Opera debut in 2018 in Opera Queensland's Gold Coast production of Gilbert & Sullivans "Ruddigore or the Witches Curse". 

 

In 2019 she was then cast in Matt Ward Entertainments production of Wicked which showed exclusively at Gold Coasts own Home of the Arts along side an all-star cast.

With her experience and interests covering across the Opera, Classical, Pop, Jazz and Musical Theatre genres; you will often find her performing around the Northern Rivers, the Gold Coast and Sydney.

Previous theatre credits include: KISS ME KATE (2011), The Acid Queen in The Who’s TOMMY (2015) and Scotty in MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG (2015).
